Daily Update (5/15/25) - Decoration Card Readability Improvements
Daily Update - May 15th, 2025
Hi all! Today I spent some time on improving the UI experience with regards to Decoration cards. I took some time to re-design the UI of these cards to allow for more text at a higher font size, so that you don't need a microscope to read what they do for some of the wordier ones. Also, as part of that, I re-worded the effects of many wordy Decorations so that they'd fit into their respective text boxes. Part of that was adding two new Keywords: "Convince" and "Haggle". These mean "Improve your current customer's preference for an Item Type" and "Reduce the cost of your Customer's Item for Sale" by an amount (respectively). I think I'll need to do some text templating standardization in the future, but for now, this should suffice. Additionally, in the Reward scene, I've bumped up the size of a few UI elements so they're more readable, and you can now view individual decorations there in the popup tooltip by right-clicking them. So, pretty productive UI day I think! Here's the changelog:
