Daily Update (7/04/25) - A bunch of new music and sounds!


Daily Update - July 4th 2025

Hi all! I'm finally back from vacation! Over the break, I published the Steam page for the game, so first of all, go give it a wishlist! It'll help out a ton!

As for the stuff that got done today (and also yesterday), I've been messing with some music production, and finally got some new music added to the game! Dan made some nice fresh loops, so I've added those in, as well as some stuff I came up with too! It should be a lot less monotonous, and maybe even fun to listen to over long periods of time. In the process of doing that, I also added a bunch of new sound effects too, so the game should sound a lot more dynamic. I'm still planning on adding more, but this was a good start. Also also, there's some new Art for a few tactics from Jenbarb! Woo! Lots of new non-gameplay content today. Here's the changelog:

  • Art: Added art for the Anticipate Argument, Alchemize, and Armor Advertising tactics
  • Music: Added some new music for the calendar/supply shoppe/game over screen!
  • Music: Music should now play on all screens
  • Music/SFX: Music will now fade in/out instead of changing abruptly when changing scenes
  • SFX: Added a little string sfx when the day ends and the end of day report appears
  • SFX: Banning a customer, downsizing a card from your inventory, and abandoning a run now plays a drum sting
  • SFX: Saving and Quitting now plays a drum hat hit sfx
  • SFX: Some drum sounds play now when cards are modified in any way
  • Text: Added credits for new music.
  • Bugfix: Fixed some topbar buttons not working during the tutorial
