Daily Update (6/19/25) - New Reactive Dialogue System!


Daily Update - June 17th 2025

Hi all! Today I figured I'd add a fun new addition to the game. Reactive dialogue! Now, whenever you take most actions, or if your customers enter or exit the shop, your shopkeeper will say some reactive dialogue! Customers also have some stuff to say, so it should feel a lot less like a sterile numbers game, and a bit more like a warm shop with some fun characters to discover. 


I had a lot of fun writing some silly dialogue for the customers, haha. I hope you enjoy my dumb jokes! Here's the changelog for today's patch:

  • Art: Added art for the Quartermaster, Soldier, Rag Man, Town Guard, and Old Man customers.
  • UI: Increased the size of the player character sprite, so you're more prominent in the shop room
  • UI/Text: Most actions, and some customer interactions will now cause your shopkeeper to say some dialog
  • UI/Text: Customers now say some dialog when entering, exiting, or taking actions
  • UI: Updated a few outdated customer intent Icons.
