Daily Update (5/5/25) - Feedback Fixes


Daily Update - May 5th, 2025

Hi all! Today I mostly worked on a number of bug reports that came in late Friday afternoon. You should seem some significant stability improvements in the redecoration scene, and a bunch of other nice little fixes here and there. Also, I added a little cash loss animation whenever you spend money, since I'm still having fun with particle emitters. Here's the changelog!

  • Gameplay: Minor buff to Local Villager. Local Villagers will no longer reduce their preference for a liked item type when picking their preferences if they already like that item type when they enter the shop (for example, like if they like Armor due to a Town Guard trigger on the previous customer)
  • Animation: Added a coin loss animation whenever you spend money
  • UI: Minorly re-positioned the "satisfied" heart icon on item types to not overlap with the stacks label
  • Bugfix: Fixed being able to buy multiple rewards if you were really fast.
  • Bugfix: Fixed some game stability/crash issues in the Redecoration scene
  • Bugfix: Fixed "Next In Line" UI getting stuck on the screen if hovering over it when a customer leaves the shop
  • Bugfix: Fixed some instances of the Satisfied Preference heart UI disappearing visually from a customer when their preferences changed
  • Bugfix: Fixed cards remaining in a phantom "selected" state in cases where they were in a selected state before being freed from the scene tree by some non player interaction effect (such as being combined)
  • Bugfix: Fixed selling an item for $0 spawning coins for the previous item sale instead of spawning no coins for the coin explosion visual effect
