Daily Update (4/25/25) - Customer Item Pools, and stability fixes


Daily Update - April 25th, 2025

Hi all! Today was a mix of a few things, not particularly productive, but hey! I cleaned up a new crop of issues from my tutorial rework yesterday, so normal non-tutorial runs should be back to being stable. Whoops! On the gameplay side, Customers now pull from a pool of items specific to their customer type to sell to you. Generally, they'll sell you things they'd like to purchase in the future, or items you'd expect them to have on hand (so, a Soldier may sell a spare dagger, or a Farmer may sell their Hearty Food to you). This should make checking what customers are selling a more important part of the game, since they'll frequently now sell Restockable basic items to help you build out your Daily Inventory.   • Gameplay: Most customers now have a wider pool of items they draw from to sell to the player, instead of a single fixed item
  • Tutorial: Streamlined the Decoration tutorial a little bit.
  • UI: UI Focus borders now appear for Mouse users when interacting with Market Day Rewards while picking specific rewards
  • Bugfix: Fixed tutorial always appearing in the Sales Day Rewards scene, and when loading continued runs (oops!)
  • Bugfix: Fixed some typos in the Tutorial
  • Bugfix: Fixed some strange focus borders with decorations in the character select scene
  • Bugfix: Fixed decorations being able to be equipped/un-equipped outside of the redecoration scene
  • Bugfix: Fixed tutorial logic being processed in non-tutorial runs
