Full Controller Support! Finally!


Daily Update - April 18th, 2025

Hi all! Today I'm happy to announce that with today's addition of controller support for the Tutorial, the entire game can now be played/used with a controller! It's been a pretty incremental process over the last week and a half or so, and I'm sure there are some un-found issues hiding in the weeds, but I'm happy with the state of things, and calling it good for a minor version bump instead of just a patch version. Give the game a try on your controller of choice, and lemme know how it goes! Here's the changelog for the day's changes too:

  • Gameplay/UI: Added a "new" Item status: Temporary - Temporary Items only last for the current Market Day. (This is already how many new cards added to your hand during a Market Day already were functioning, but this provides some reminder text, and a way to differentiate them from items that are part of your Daily Inventory)
  • Controller Support: Added controller support to the remainder of the tutorial. The whole game is now able to be experienced entirely via controller! Woohoo!
  • Bugfix: More aggressively disabled action buttons and input handling in the Market Day when customers lose patience to prevent weird action behaviour during customer turns
  • Bugfix: Fixed sneaky bug that could cause the underlying card resource for a combined card to be modified if it was modified during the card combination process
