Daily Update (4/8/25) - UI Polishing & some new achievements


Daily Update - April 8th, 2025

Hey all! Today I spent the morning playtesting and tidying up some stuff I noticed as a result of the playtesting. Mostly little UI tweaks here and there (some font size stuff here, some jagged image fixing there, etc). Also, there's a new closed crate icon for the discard pile, so that's cool! In terms of gameplay tweaks, I've updated a class of common customers that paid you off for selling them a lot of the same kind of item. I found during playtesting that this was pretty difficult to ever trigger, even with a pretty streamlined Daily Inventory, so I've reduced the amount of items you need to sell them for the payoff by from 3 to 2. To account for this, I've also reduced their starting patience by 1,  since I want the play pattern for these customers to be to either just dump all of your items of the correct type on them, or to sell them some stuff they don't quite like as much while setting up for the next customer. Finally, I added a few more fun achievements to shoot for. Have fun achievement hunting! Here's the full changelog for the day:

  • Bugfix: Fixed some UI scaling on customer status tooltips
  • Bugfix: Added some missing combination recipes for Omni Potion, Heroism Potion, and Adventuring Kit
  • Bugfix: Fixed text overrun on the tile of Stormwracked Bookshelf decoration card
  • Bugfix: Fixed typo in the text of the Armor Stand decoration
  • Bugfix: Fixed incorrect name for the Gourmand customer (was mistakenly called the Curator)
  • Bugfix: Fixed a text overrun for the text of the Take Consignment tactic by removing some extra verbiage in the reminder text
