Daily Update - April 7th, 2025
Hey all! Today I got a fancy new non-placeholder artwork for the Shop background. I think it looks great, so I went ahead and totally replaced everywhere the old placeholder was living with it too. Along with that, I got some good feedback over the weekend on a couple things here and there, so I worked on cleaning those areas up a little. Overall, the day was mostly UI tweaking and feedback addressing, so pretty produtive, if not earth-shattering. Kind of a polish day I suppose. Thinking I'll run another demo of the progress at the next Dirty Rectangles event, so come check that out if you're in the area on Wednesday. Should be fun! Here's today's changelog:

- Art: Added an updated Shop background and replaced the old placeholder pixelart background with the new background where relevant (everywhere but the main menu)
- UI: Updated the value orb texture to be a square icon for Item type cards, to further visually distinguish them from other cards which cost patience, and the customer's patience timer
- UI: Moved some UI elements during Market Days to match some new spacing with the new background art.
- UI: Smoothed out some fonts at high font sizes - UI: Fixed up a bit of alignment of UI elements in the top status bar
- UI: Updated Sell moneybag icon to match similar moneybag icons in decoration management scene
- Text: Clarified the effect of the Shepherd customer a little bit
- Text: Renamed the Starting Inventory to Daily Inventory, for clarity of purpose
- Text: Updated credits to add missing asset contributor & switch pineapple playtester emoji to emoji instead of image
- Bugfix: Fixed page turn scene transition not turning the whole page in fullscreen mode
- Bugfix: Fixed typo in Baker's Rack decoration description
- Bugfix: Fixed some decorations retaining some event connections between runs or saving/quitting, causing some strange behaviour
- Bugfix: Fixed some UI blocker gaps in the tutorial
- Internal: Added a debug button for drawing cards and removed the defunct calendar scene change debug button
