Daily Update (4/2/25) - Some bug squashing
Daily Update - April 2nd, 2025
Hey all, lousy weather out there, eh? Today I took a bit of time to do some more playtesting and bugfixing, so the changes today are all maintenance/bug-squashing related. Nothing too exciting, but it's gotta get done! Mostly fixed up some cards/decorations that weren't working exactly how you'd expect, and some UI jank in the redecoration screen.
Gameplay-wise, I had a pretty fun/broken run with the Dagger Bucket/Cheap Snacks to generate lots of basically free Markup, and managed to unlock the Achievement for having a big Markup stack, so that was pretty cool. I did have enough cash to beat the game midway through the 3rd week, and it did start to drag on a bit there, so I might want to think about some way to keep the late-game interesting, since with the right build you can out-scale the whole game pretty fast. One thing I'm considering is making the line-size upgrades reset every week (or maybe just go down a couple levels? I'll need to playtest and think about it - maybe that's something for a harder difficulty level?) Anyway, enough rambling. Here's the changelog:
