Daily Update - April 1st, 2025
Happy April Fools! Today, I implemented an achievement system into the game, so that you can feel a sense of pride and accomplishment via external validation from the game itself. Lots of people like this kind of system, and I'll definitely want to support achievements once I start thinking about a steam release, so I figured it was time to put `em in! To start, there's the usual assortment of Win with each difficulty/character kind of faire, and a few more creative ones. Nothing too fancy, but I think players will appreciate having some checklist items to go after. Here's the changelog!

- New Feature: Achievements! After completing certain fun or interesting challenges, you'll unlock achievements you can admire in the Stats page!
- Achievements: Added a new Achievement - Off to Market! (Complete the Tutorial)
- Achievements: Added achievements for winning a run at each difficulty level (Certified Businessowner, Village Merchant, Townie, City Slicker, Capital!)
- Achievements: Added achievements for winning a run with each character (Super Shopkeeper, The Strongest Potions, Booming Bakery)
- Achievements: Added an achievement for banning all customers from your shop's Customer Base (Extremely Exclusive)
- Achievements: Added an achievement for selling an item for at least $1000 (Top Shelf Merch)
- Achievements: Added an achievement for maxing out your line size (Take a Number)
- Achievements: Added an achievement for having at least 10 Markup at once (Sticker Shock)
- UI: Added an option to view your Achievements via the Stats page
- UI: Updated the text on the Pause Menu during the tutorial to indicate that you're just quitting the tutorial, not saving and quitting
- UI: Removed a redundant option to abandon the run in the pause menu during the tutorial
- Bugfix: Fixed tutorial saving itself as if it was a real run, which could cause some strange effects if you tried to load up from the main menu
