Daily Update (3/20/25) - 4 more customers!


Daily Update - March 20th, 2025

Hey hey! Today was mostly just a content day, as I added a cycle of customers that have a mini-quest to sell them 3 of a certain type of item to improve your next customer, so check those out in the changelog. As part of that though, I discovered some nasty trickiness with the customer deck's implementation causing modifications to customers other than the current customer to echo to all copies of that customer everywhere, so that took a little bit of time to unravel and fix. Other than that, not too much exciting to report, so here's the full changelog for the day.

  • New Content: Added a new common customer: The Farmer (4 Patience, 3 Influence, Likes Food, Dislikes everything else, selling 3 food upgrades the next customer's food preference)
  • New Content: Added a new common customer: The Town Guard (4 Patience, 3 Influence, Likes Armor, Dislikes everything else, selling 3 armor upgrades the next customer's Armor preference)
  • New Content: Added a new common customer: The Soldier (4 Patience, 3 Influence, Likes Weapons, Dislikes everything else, selling 3 armor upgrades the next customer's Weapon preference)
  • New Content: Added a new common customer: The Vintner (4 Patience, 3 Influence, Likes Potions, Dislikes everything else, selling 3 armor upgrades the next customer's Potion preference)
  • Text: Added a section to the Credits for sound design, and added myself to it
  • Stability: Added some safety guards to avoid crashes related to selected cards getting out of sync in some rare cases
  • Bugfix: Fixed customers in line not being unique, causing modifications to them to echo to all other copies of that customer everywhere.
