Daily Update (3/18/25) - The Shepard, and a tricky bugfix


Daily Update - March 18th, 2025

Hi all! Today I dig even deeper into that weird bug I mentioned yesterday, since it was giving me a brainworm, and I think I fixed it by tweaking how savegames are loaded. If this version breaks on your machine, please let me know! That took most of my brainpower, so I was only able to add one more customer today, and make a couple minor tweaks here and there, but hey. Here's that changelog:

  • New Content: Added a new uncommon customer: Shepherd (3 Patience, 4 Influence, likes Food/Armor, dislikes Weapons/Potions - can move food to the top of your deck if you sell them food.)
  • Gameplay: Buffed Welcome In tactic, now instead of removing a random disliked preference, it gives one level of a random type preference, regardless of starting preferences.
  • Bugfix: Fixed bug with continuing a run after starting a run after abandoning previous a run somehow forgetting how to put data into the right format due to what is most likely some arcane resource saving caching shenanigans, causing the continued run to get stuck in a loading state.
  • Bugfix: Fixed rarity of Mega Markup tactic (Common -> Rare)
