Daily Update (3/13/25) - A few more customers + some UI improvements.


Daily Update - March 13th, 2025

Hey all, quick little update here today. I spent a lot of time digging out from some strange engine bugs, but I did add a few more customers and nice UI improvements today. Specifically, customers now display the names of the moves they're using when they take a turn, so you should be hopefully less confused by what's going on now. Here's the changelog!

  • New Content: Added a rare customer: the Sommelier (2 Patience, 2 Influence, only likes Potions, sets their Influence to twice the number of customers in your customer base that like Potions)
  • New Content: Added a new uncommon customer: The Brewer (4 Patience, 3 Influence, Likes Potions, dislikes Weapons and Food, will give you a random tactic if they see you combine items)
  • New Content: Added a new uncommon customer: The Fisherman (5 Patience, 3 Influence, likes Food, dislikes Armor and Weapons. Once sold an item, will only buy items with that name.)
  • UI: Updated customer intents to always show a "Leave Shop" intent if they're on their last Patience, so that players aren't being mislead about what's actually gonna happen next turn.
  • UI: Added rarity display icons to customers outside of the sales room
  • UI: Added a text popup when a customer takes their turn to display the name of the action they took, so that the player can easily understand what's going on
  • UI: Updated the popup text when a customer increases their item for sale's price from green to red, since this is usually not desirable
