Daily Update - Dec 2nd, 2024
Hey there! Happy December! It's been a busy day today, with a good chunk of time dedicated to cataloguing the various art assets I'll need to make when I move off of the placeholder stuff I've got so far. As far as actual game changes, I also made some good progress. I made a few changes to the gameplay to hopefully make your choices of Decoration more impactful, and avoid some UI strangeness. Also, some changes to cards that add a single type to an item got buffed. There are also a number of UI fixes, as well as a rework of the display of customers. Now, the UI for their likes and dislikes is on the side borders of the card, leaving from for unique mechanic text in the customer text box, or at least some flavour text! Here's the changelog for the day:

- Gameplay: Buffed shopkeeper tactics that add an item type to another single item (Reduced patience cost from 1 - 0)
- Gameplay: Implemented a maximum hand size - starting with 7, but this could probably be modified by cards or decorations. Hand size is checked at the start of your turn.
- Gameplay: Nerfed decoration choices per reward screen (3 -> 2)
- Gameplay: Removed bad luck protection on decorations for generating rare decorations
- UI: Reworked the Customer Card UI to move the liked and disliked aspects to either side of the card borders, and give some space in the text box for actual rules text and/or flavor text
- UI: As a result of the above, added flavor text for all customers
- Bugfix: Fixed Fearmonger card text overflow in the deck view
- Bugfix: Fixed Side Salad text overflow in deck view
- Bugfix: Fixed Side Salad text overflow in deck view
- Bugfix: Fixed Limited Time Offer text overflow in deck view
- Bugfix: Fixed customer Likes/Dislikes going missing
