Daily Update - Nov 21st, 2024

Today started off playing a runthrough of the game now that the decoration system is in there, and I think it's definitely getting there, mechanics wise. I did notice a number of annoying bugs and QoL issues, so I spent the day cleaning up some of those. Here's today's changelog with the deets:

  • Bugfix: Fixed a bug where only the first decoration in your decoration inventory was sellable if you had multiple unused decorations
  • Bugfix: Fixed some text running off of the side of certain additional goods reward packs 
  • Bugfix: Fixed being able to select cards while customers are performing their turns. (This could cause a number of unexpected weirdness, so best off to just disallow it)
  • Bugfix: Fixed peasant litter action not ever ending the customer turn (I'm sure this was causing weirdness somewhere - noticed during implementation of the above bugfix) 
  • Improvement: Improved text display on decoration cards in the rewards screen to use a new dedicated text field instead of using the tooltip text. Text should now not run off the bottom of these reward cards, and not show the decoration name either.
  • Improvement: Added a display in the decoration inventory management scene to the tooltip when hovering over a decoration to show which slot it is associated with. (I'm not 100% in love with the implementation, but it's good enough for now)
