Daily Update - Nov 20th, 2024

I got a bit distracted this morning by the new online co-op mode for Binding of Isaac, so definitely started a bit late today, but now that the decoration system is more or less stable, I used the remains of the day to add a few new decorations, so there's more than just 2 decorations total. Should be able to crank out a bunch more tomorrow too! Anyway, here's the changelog(s) for the day:

- Fixed a bug introduced in v0.2.2 that was breaking the draw and disard pile UIs. Whoops!

  • Hid the debug menu from exported builds (Sorry cheaters!)
  • (Internal) Minor refactor of start of day code when starting a sales day to handle start of day decorations a bit nicer
  • (Internal) Added combo cards and common shopkeeper tactics to an internal card lookup table to support some of the new decorations
  • Added the following new decorations:
    • Inviting Doormat: Carpet decoration. Adds 1 Patience to your 1st customer of the day
    • Spacious Shelving: Shelves decoration. Draws 2 extra cards when you start the day
    • Glowing Orb: Lighting decoration. adds a random (non-permanent) Common Tactic to your beginning hand each day
    • Duplicator: Workbench decoration. Whenever you combine cards, add a copy of the resulting card to your hand
    • Tip Jar: Sales Counter decoration. Gain $25 at the end of a Sales Day.
    • Dirty Workbench: Workbench decoration: Combining cards produces an extra Trash card.
    • Bright Torch: Lighting decoration: Whenever You Rummage, draw an additional card
