Daily Update(12/04/24)
Daily Update - Dec 4th, 2024
Woof, busy coupla days here! Was mostly busy with job interview stuff yesterday, but was able to lock in today for a fairly major-ish bunch of UI and gameplay changes. Maybe the snow in the air got me focused? The big highlights are two new screens: Options and Credits! Options lets you control the sound levels so that the music and various dings and dongs are more pleasing to your personal preferences, and so that folks that contributed to the project get some proper credit! Additionally, I did mention music! There's some music in the shop now, thanks to a jazzy track from Dan T!
On the gameplay side, I've reduced the number of days in a week to 4 for now, so that players have less time to accrue cash before the payment day. I plan on adding the extra day back as an event day sometime soon, so don't get too sad about time disappearing.
On the UI side, I've made card UIs a little more consistent, and added a new place to track your player statuses, so you can remember how many free combinations and such you might have - expect to see more improvements on this UI soon too. Also, a couple of bugfixes here and there. There were enough changes here that I think a new minor version is warranted. Welcome to 0.3!
