Daily Update - July 28th, 2025
Hi all! Today I mostly did some playtesting and experimentation with some starting conditions for the game. One of the things I experimented with was removing the Restockable tag from your starting Daily Inventory. I personally found this more interesting, since now I needed to balance selling items to customers that actually want them and crafting to avoid exhausting my stores. That said, this was a significant step up in difficulty, so I'm not sold on making that change being the right move. Another change I'm thinking of making is adding more days to the week, and making going to the Supply Shoppe a choice you can make at the start of the day. This would introduce some time management to the game, which I think it's missing a bit. Also, not super sold on that change either yet, but know that I'm considering it I guess!
As I was playtesting, I mostly spent the coding portion of the day fixing up a number of minor issues I noticed cropping up, so the net new stuff today is mostly new art, and bugfixes. Here's the changelog:

- Bugfix: Fixed some mouse deadzones when trying to buy new customers in the Supply Shoppe
- Bugfix: Fixed extra scene transition when loading the supply shoppe from the main menu
- Bugfix: Fixed unlocked decorations and tactics appearing as locked if generated as rewards in the supply shoppe under certain conditions
