Cloud Saves and improved controller support - Daily Update (8/8/25)
Daily Update - August 8th, 2025
Hi all! Today I got into the some tweaking and fiddling around to get cross-platform cloud saves working for Steam. I had a bunch of stuff just totally misconfigured on that backend, so a lot of stuff on my Steam Deck just straight up didn't work, but I got it all working by the end of the day. That'll be a real nice addition for those of you on the Steam release I think! Most of the misconfigurations were just pointing at the wrong executable file, or using the wrong save data path, and stuff like that. All kinda simple silly stuff, but boy does it break hard if you don't get it right!
On the less technical side, I fixed up a bunch of controller issues in the supply shoppe, and elsewhere. I'll probably need to do a pass for controller support as we get closer to a proper demo, but it's at least playable again, so that's good. We also got a huge new art drop from _Jenbarb with the remainder of the Lighting decoration art! We're just 3 categories of decorations away from having almost all the art assets ready!
Here's the last changelog for the week - enjoy your weekend!
